Rotors & Stators

The pump system is made out of two elements: rotor and stator.

The helical rotor, mobile part of the system, can be made of stainless steel or of cast iron and is round shaped.

The stator, the fixed part of the system, is made of a metallic, round shaped cylinder, which is injected with an elastomer (rubber, polyurethane, etc.) molded with a matrix in the shape of a helical-shaped, progressing cavity.

An engine operates the rotor inside the stator through a universal joint. When the rotor is inserted into the stator, a double chain of watertight cavities (honeycombed) is created. The honeycomb progresses spirally along the axis. This generates the suction that transfers the product from the pump intake to the pump discharge.
